Welcome to Pacific Pride Bulldogs we are owners, breeders, and exhibitors of CKC and AKC registered bulldogs in the Metro Vancouver BC area, 20 mins from downtown Vancouver.  We breed for health, temperament and conformation.

 

We are members in good standing with the Bulldog Club of America (BCA) and the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC)

 

We are passionate about the health of our dogs and the puppies we produce. Health screening is an important tool we utilize in order to make informed choices for the betterment of the breed. We strive for heath certification clearances for the following: OFA Eyes, OFA Congenital Cardiac, OFA Patellar Luxation, OFA Hips and Elbow Dysplasia, OFA Tracheal Hypoplasia , OFA Thyroid and OFA  Hyperuricosuria (HUU). We are to eager to participate in any health research that are made available such as the OFA Spine Study and the CHIC DNA  repository.  All results of our dogs health clearance are public record and can be found here; Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) and Canine Health Information Centre (CHIC)

 

This hobby all started when we purchased our first bulldog. Our initial intention  was nothing more than to find a show dog that will moonlight as a perfect companion for our retired show boxer. Little did we know how this special girl would change our lives. With each show under our belt, it became more and more apparent that we wanted more. The natural progression for us was a desire to start our own breeding program and produce our next show dog with the help from all the wonderful and amazing show breeders we’ve met along the way. We’ve been very fortunate to work closely with long time show breeders. They have provided us with knowledge, guidance, mentoring and friendship as we embark on this wonderful journey together.

 

We take extra pride in our efforts to feed our dogs a Biologically Appropriate Raw Foods diet;  natural, raw, uncooked, unprocessed and unadulterated. We have also been following a very limited vaccination protocol for the last 15  years.  As a result our dogs enjoy superb health full of vigor.
